Hi! I know you have heard this saying dozens of times, and given that you are reading this page, you probably know its meaning very well - "One man's trash is another man's treasure".
But, there is a lot more to this business of buying and selling antiques and collectibles than knowing the meaning of that one simple little collector's motto. For example:
1. Which trash is really treasure? Sometimes treasure can conceal itself as trash very convincingly. So, it is hard to spot. And, sometimes trash is just plain old trash.
2. How much is it worth? Is it really treasure? Afterall, one person calls it trash, but all you might have is a hunch that it is treasure. And,
3. Can you sell it as treasure? Of course, it is in the selling that the truth is revealed.
The purpose of this page is to relate a few trash to treasure experiences. There will be sales histories of items that I bought for practically nothing, or found in the trash, or everyday store bought items that were later sold on eBay for a nice profit.
The lesson to learn will be that there are an abundance of deals almost everywhere everyday. Hopefully, these sales histories will help to expand your vision of the profitable possible.
